Writting music for the screen and the stage is one of my favourite creative environments.

My work includes several collaborations with theater and film artist Pau Zabaleta Llauger, like Teto and SPILLED. The recent premiere of the theater play El Living was a particularly compelling experience that allowed me to be closely involved in the creative process from the very beginning. Working first from the script and then in the rehearsal room, together with the rest of the cast, I made music that became another presence in the story, developing alongside the unfolding of the other characters.

I was proud to be part of the award-winning feature film In This Moment by Chicahua Zipactonal Martínez a few years ago.

I strongly believe that music plays a structural role in film. It can organize a scene, soften a transition, draw attention to certain elements on screen, and even connect images with subconscious states that remain invisible to the eye. I am currently revisiting classics of the silent screen and giving them new life by creating modern scores that speak to today’s audiences.
